Time line - Permanent Resident in Canada
This is an example of PR processing time or time-line of becoming a PR, since the beginning till receiving a PR card
2016/08/28 - sent out PR application
2016/08/31 - CPCV officer signed receiving PR application
2016/09/10 - got an email from CIC about confirmation of receiving permanent residence application
2016/10/6 - got an email from CPCV that meet eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence
2016/12/1 - got an email from CIC that permanent residence has approved
2016/12/7 - got an email from CIC Calgary confirmation of permanent residence interview
2017/01/17 - interviewed and became a PR
2017/02/21 - PR card issued
2017/03/2 - got PR card
I applied under a care giver class.
The processing time showed at the date I interviewed was 56 days. After a month I checked again it was 46 days.
Hopefully, who are waiting for it will get it soon. Good luck.
